Gary is an IPTX Board member, has served as IPTX Board President and currently is the Chair of the Litigation Committee.

A single lawyer in a specific practice area and location is honored with a "Lawyer of the Year" designation.

We are grateful for the support of Ben and Ashley Riseman, two directors of the Riseman Foundation board living in Austin, TX.

“Ashley and I were enthusiastic about learning more about the Innocence Project of Texas this past spring and reached out to them to find out more about their mission. We attended an event they held in Austin after their Texas Legislative Advocacy Day at the capitol and were excited to hear of their work on behalf of Exonerees, and to get to meet Anna Vasquez and the other members of the San Antonio 4, who were exonerated by IPTX.
We are pleased to announce the preliminary awarding of a challenge grant of $15,000 to the Innocence Project of Texas in hopes that this will catalyze more funds from other Foundations to match our Riseman Foundation funding. We do this in hopes that IPTX can have an amazing September matching funds campaign from individuals, knowing that if successful, their funds will be matched on a 3-1 basis.
The Riseman Foundation funds innovative organizations working to improve the quality of life of: people who are at critical milestones, by providing resources to help them transcend challenging circumstances, and animals in need of protections, by promoting animal welfare, rights, and rescue efforts.
We think their pro-bono work on behalf of the wrongfully convicted is critically important and their goal to reunite families who have been wrongfully separated is an important part of our own social justice and family support mission work.” – Ben Riseman, August 16, 2019

IPTX needs to raise some other significant donations from other Foundations and generous individuals in the amount of $35,000 to have a more than 3-1 match for our big individual donor Match campaign next month. So far, we’ve already raised $5,000 from a brand new donor, Wayne Tuttle, in Iowa!

Are YOU able to make a big match now through your Foundation, your personal donation or a corporate donation (with or without anonymity - your choice!). Please let us know! Your large donation will be used to ensure we can raise significant funding in September for our first-ever match campaign!

Call 281-832-2089 if you or someone you know is ready to step up so we can leverage maximum funds for the incredible mission of reuniting families who have been wrongfully separated! Huge thanks to the Riseman Foundation!
